Little Hearts

Little Hearts project provides free life-saving cardiac surgery and interventional cardiac catheterisation for children with Congenital Heart Defects from underprivileged families irrespective of gender, race or religion.

Each year over 1,000,000 babies are born worldwide with a congenital heart defect. 100,000 of them will not live to see their first birthday and thousands more die before they reach adulthood

What is a congenital heart disease?

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is a defect in the heart that a baby is born with. It affects 1 in 100 births around the world and can be treated with an invasive/non-invasive heart operation at birth depending on the type of heart defect.

In poor underdeveloped countries, access to treatment is next to impossible for many of its’ poor. Suffering from:


  • A lack of skilled health professionals.

  • A lack of investment in cardiac sector.
  • 03

  • Where there is the facility and expertise; it is beyond the financial means of the poor.
  • pledges to donate 10% of all profits to the Little Hearts project. The largest heart treatment project of its kind in the world, sending a team of more than 30 heart professionals each time carrying out on average 60 operations.
